The Maple Cottage is an oasis located in the heart of Sonoma’s Wine Country. Only a short drive from the Bay Area, you’ll feel like you’ve entered another world.
Situated in the Village of Kenwood, this French Country cottage is within walking or cycling distance of 13 wineries and tasting rooms. There are 4 great restaurants and the Mayo Reserve Room (featuring gourmet food and wine pairings) within a few minutes’ walk from the cottage as well.
Nature lovers can picnic at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park or hike to Bald Mountain with 360-degree views of Northern California and of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can spend an evening at the Robert Ferguson Observatory in Sugarloaf Park star gazing and learning about current astronomical events.
The Cottage
The Maple Cottage underwent a complete ground up renovation in 2007. The interior is tastefully decorated in “French Country” style with furnishings from Elegant Clutter Design Interiors. The completely stocked kitchen features gourmet appliances and granite countertops. No need to bring anything from home. There is a claw-foot soaking tub in the bath to relax in.
The Rooms
Each room in the cottage was thoughtfully crafted with our guests’ comfort in mind. From plush bathrobes, down comforters and 100% cotton linens, to the fully stocked gourmet kitchen, flat screen LCD TV and remote controlled fireplace, the cottage is a place to relax and pamper you. Each of the rooms at the Maple Cottage has been given detailed attention for our guests’ satisfaction. The amenities are something special!
Both bedrooms feature french doors leading to a private garden with a romantic hot tub/spa and a 7-foot tall water fountain. High-speed wireless internet service is included at no charge.
The Grounds
The grounds are planted in grapevines, of course, with 50 year old redwood trees keeping watch.
The private back garden is reached through french doors leading from either bedroom — a place to relax. Sip a glass of wine or champagne in the spa/hot tub or read a novel in this peaceful setting.
